Two record-breaking players. At 42, Roger Milla of Cameroon became the oldest ever player and goalscorer when he netted against Russia. Oleg Salenko became the first man to score 5 goals in a World Cup match. However, both teams had failed to collect enough points and had to go home after the first round.
