Our readers' number one game. A classic in every sense. An
injury-time equalizer secured extra-time for the Germans, and five more goals were scored in the extra half hour

vs France 3-3 (5-4)ap in 1982
This rollercoaster
battle had everything. High drama, controversial refereeing, quality goals
and a nerve wrecking penalty shoot-out to top it off. France led 3-1 in

showed remarkable strength and leveled the score, before winning on penalties.
