seashore and has no rivers in the city, but the northern parts are restricted is has grown
stretching from east and to the west. Steelmachine and tool industries are developed in the
eastern part and heavy industries are in the central part. The western part has small scaled

After transferring to Kyoto the influence of the highway was deprived and the city area disappeared by the war
during the end of the 12th century. But as many temples were rebuilt in the 13th century, it
became a newborn city. It became a prefecture office location after the Meiji Restoration
and developed into an international tourism city. By the population line-up per industry

comparing to the 2nd generation industry population of 27%. Production of the ink stick,
writing brush, lacquer ware, ceramic ware, textiles, hand weaving and other legitimate
industrial arts are active. Under the motto "Regeneration, Creation, Impression" Kobe is
recovering from the great earthquake of 1995 and preparing for the World Cup showing the
world a newly born Kobe.
The stadium is constructed with special steel which can endure 7.2 earthquakes and will be
used as a shelter when an earthquake strikes. There is a comfortable viewing environment
provided and the whole stadium is heated and air conditioned.
